Two-day virtual conference to connect both ecosystems

Israel is an agri-food tech powerhouse building on a tradition of agricultural excellence to achieve food and water security despite an extremely challenging climate. Israel is the birthplace of hundreds of agri-food tech solutions ranging from drip irrigation to advanced data and bio-engineered products.
Israel is now tackling some of the 21st century’s biggest challenges – including feeding a planet with a growing population – with a thriving agri-food tech sector that continues the country’s long-standing tradition of integrating innovation with cutting-edge agricultural techniques.
Investment in agri-food tech in Israel has increased significantly in recent years, with more than US$800 million invested since 2014 according to AgFunder. Agricultural research and development in Israel has led to significant increases in crop yields and quality, including new seed and plant varieties.
Singapore is an agri-food tech hub in its own right. It is home to the headquarters of many leading agribusinesses, and to a vibrant startup ecosystem, supported by a strong innovation culture and supporting infrastructure. Singapore is now driving intensive research and development in agri-food tech to achieve its “30 by 30” goal - to produce 30% of its nutritional needs locally by 2030.
The Israel Singapore Agri-Food Exchange (ISAFE) is an initiative to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between agri-food ecosystems in both countries for accelerated innovation and greater impact.
ISAFE aims to foster meaningful business relationships between Israeli agri-food tech companies and key stakeholders in the Singapore ecosystem - including startups, corporates, investors, academia and government agencies.
ISAFE is organised by the Embassy of Israel in Singapore and the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), supported
by Padang & Co.
